The Memphis Oral School for the Deaf is a 8,600 s. f. building on the campus of Kingsway Christian Church. Here young deaf children are nurtured and learn to speak, in part using the technology of cochlear implants. The architecture is in keeping with the language of the other buildings on campus and the school hierarchically defers to the church building which is more prominent and addresses the street.
