JEREMY HUELIN

INTERN ARCHITECT

Jeremy Huelin joined Hord Architects full time in the summer of 2023 after receiving his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University.  Jeremy began with us as a summer intern while still enrolled at Cornell.  During that time, he proved himself to be a diligent and intelligent member of our team.

While a student at Cornell, Jeremy was involved with the Chesterton House, a living-learning center on campus which sought to create intentional ecumenical Christian community through daily fellowship while also deepening one’s love of Christ and the Christian intellectual tradition through seminars and invited speakers.  Through this community, Jeremy was blessed with the opportunity to volunteer designs for a local homeless shelter for women and children, saving the organization money on architecture fees.  The six-bedroom complex is currently under construction in Dryden, New York. Jeremy’s thesis involved the construction of a small dwelling which he occupied while building it in order to ground his design work in the reality of building and living. Jeremy was awarded the William Downing thesis prize along with first place in several other design competitions while attending Cornell.

Jeremy is a man of profound faith and substantial leadership abilities. He is confirmed in the Anglican Church of North America and is involved in planting Church of the Incarnation, an ACNA parish here in Memphis. He has a very bright future as an architect.
